Nope. GLYDE calibrates itself automatically every time you power it on. The internal sensors realign in seconds, so there’s no manual setup or fine-tuning needed.

Yep, you’re good offline. Once a hairstyle is downloaded, the app works without Wi-Fi or data. That means you can cut anywhere—at home, in a dorm, or on the go—without worrying about staying connected.

Is the clipper designed for cutting beards or body hair as well, or is it exclusively for head hair?

Right now, GLYDE is optimized for head hair only. It’s tuned for fades, tapers, and top trims. Beard and body trimming isn’t supported just yet—but future updates may expand compatibility for those areas with consistent-length trimming.

Is GLYDE water-resistant or waterproof? Can it be safely used or cleaned near water?

GLYDE isn’t waterproof, so it’s best to keep it dry and away from water. But cleaning is still easy—the kit includes a brush and lubricating oil for safe, manual upkeep.

What if I need a new fade-band or blade—are replacements available?
